An arrangement of the final movement of Alexandre Guilmant’s Symphony in D minor for organ & orchestra, opus 42. The arrangement was created in 2018 by James Kennerley and first performed on the Kotzschmar Memorial Organ in Merrill Auditorium, Portland, Maine. This movement makes for a thrilling concert piece or service postlude. It is scored for three trumpets in Bb, Horn, Trombone, and Bass Trombone/Tuba, with optional parts for timpani and cymbals.
