Kennerley: Veni, veni, Emmanuel-O come, O come, Emmanuel (FULL SCORE & PARTS)
A new arrangement of Veni, veni, Emmanuel-O come, O come, Emmanuel (Latin and English texts) by James Kennerley for mixed voices and a selection of accompaniments. This quintessential Advent hymn is set to the traditional 15th-century French Franciscan Processional melody. It was composed in 2020 for the Choir of Saint Paul’s, Harvard Square.
The work may be performed with choir and organ alone, and with the addition of 6-part brass ensemble, 8-part brass ensemble, all with the addition of timpani and cymbals. As such, it works in a variety of settings, from liturgical use to concert performance, from a modestly-sized ensemble to a large chorus. Likewise, it may be sung in English or Latin, or a mixture of both.
This product is the full score and parts for the 6- and 8-part brass/organ/percussion arrangements. The choral-organ score is separately.
